History of Program/How Long in Existence

The program for the placement of older children in the custody of the state in adoptive families was formally organized in 2000. Although this is a new program, the program has placed many children in adoption with their foster families over the last 6 years. This program provides safe, committed, caring and permanent families for children whose parental rights have been terminated by the state.
