Bilingual Legal Caseworker
 
Our St. Frances Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance at Catholic Charities has a rewarding opportunity for a Bilingual Legal Caseworker at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for preparing client legal intakes, translating clients documents, preparing immigration forms for citizenship, victims of crime and family-based applications, and performing legal case management.  Ideal candidates must have proficiency in English and Spanish – verbal and written; minimum of one year legal casework and/or clerical experience; proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point; and Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.  Must have reliable transportation, valid Texas driver’s license and evidence of insurability.
 
 
Facility and Support Services Coordinator
 
Our Technology and Facilities team at Catholic Charities has an exciting opportunity for a Facility And Support Services Coordinator at our offices in Fort Bend County.  This position encompasses assignments and responsibilities that fall under three distinct departments at the Mamie George Community Center.  As such, this position will report to the Vice President over those respective departments as well as the Western Regional Director.  This individual will be required to follow directives from each of the three departments as they pertain to those departmental responsibilities.  This position will facilitate IT support, be responsible for meeting and event facility setups, as well as building and warehouse maintenance to ensure a safe and clean working environment.  The incumbent will also assist with security services and mailroom duties.  Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years building services experience, as well as basic knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and know how to repair, float and tape sheetrock.
 
 
Supervisor, Refugee Resettlement
 
Our Refugee Resettlement team at Catholic Charities is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill our Supervisor, Refugee Resettlement position at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for quality control, documentation review, COA, ETO, incident reports, fund development, staff development and educational programs.  This individual will also oversee orientation of refugees, and the Cuban-Vocational, Literacy and POWR programs.  Ideal candidates must have a Bachelors degree in social science, humanities, or social work and a minimum of 3 years program administration experience.  A background in refugee resettlement is preferred.
 
 
Director, Refugee Resettlement
 
Our Refugee Resettlement team at Catholic Charities is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill our Director, Refugee Resettlement position at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for the following:  overall day-to-day operation of the Refugee Resettlement department; maintaining communication with department's primary funders; manage staff and coordinate services in the department; oversee completion of all federal, state, and agency reporting requirements; and manage all federal, state, and agency budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility.  This individual will also ensure quality services that are linguistically and culturally appropriate to all refugees.  Ideal candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work with a minimum of 5 years experience in successfully managing refugee resettlement programs.
 
 
Director of Marketing

The Development and Communications team of Catholic Charities is seeking a highly qualified Director of Marketing at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for directing the implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan for the agency with input from the agency’s President, Board of Directors and Advisory Board, Development and Marketing Committees and Vice President of Development and Communications. The Director of Marketing will manage all marketing communications and public relations for the agency.  Ideal candidates must have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in marketing and communications, with strong computer skills in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Word.  Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
 
 
Bilingual Placement Worker

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program at Catholic Charities has a rewarding opportunity for a  Placement Worker to provide therapeutically based direct client services to foster care program serving minors who have been designated as a refugee, asylee, or victim of human trafficking. This individual will also monitor families to ensure consistent service provision and maintenance of annual licensing requirements. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in social services with two years experience in child placement services. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.


Executive Director
 
The Community Development Corporation of Catholic Charities is seeking an experienced Executive Director at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position is responsible for the overall direction and day to day management of Catholic Charities Community Development Corporation. With the Chairperson of the Board, the Executive Director enables the Board of Directors to fulfill its function and gives direction and leadership to the staff in achievement of the agency’s mission and serves as a catalyst to foster a collaborative work environment. The Executive Director’s role includes inspiring, motivating, organizing, facilitating, and providing witness to the Church’s concern for the poor, the disadvantaged, and all who hurt regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, or economic status.  Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree, preferably in the field of business administration or housing, with several years of progressive experience. 


P/T Bilingual Youth Care Worker

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program at Catholic Charities has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time Youth Care Worker, in our long term foster care program, at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will provide supervision to clients in their daily activities as well as creating a nurturing home environment, providing transportation for residents and supervising them during recreational activities and outings and providing support to the direct care staff and foster parents. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience working with juveniles. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Must have reliable transportation, valid TDL and evidence of insurability.      


P/T Coordinator of Special Events

The Catholic Charities' Development Team is seeking a part time Coordinator of Special Events.  The individual that fills this position is responsible for assisting the Director of Special Events with the implementation and execution of all aspects of fundraising and stewardship events; assisting in the identification, cultivation and stewardship of major donors; maintaining accurate donor files and timely follow-up and acknowledgement of donations. Ideal candidates will have a two or more years of experience in planning, production and management of large, small, high profile, and less-formal events for diverse and distinguished guests, with the ability to formulate creative ideas, and to analyze, evaluate, and implement details reflective of a successful event.  Candidates must also have a working knowledge of various software packages, including Microsoft Office programs.
