Database Analyst
 
The Information Technology team has an exciting opportunity for a Database Analyst at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for modeling, designing, implementing, and maintaining our client management databases, ensuring that solutions meet program objectives. Additionally, the Database Analyst will configure and optimize databases from other software solutions to minimize query processing times, develop and maintain database programmable objects, perform database integrations, work closely with program supervisors in a collaborative capacity on new projects as well as to maintain existing systems, and identify and exploit database-related services as needed. Finally, the Database Analyst will assist the IT Department in backing up and restoring databases, establishing and maintaining database security, and monitoring of databases as needed. Database development and data modeling skills are required.  Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems and a minimum of 2 years experience in PC computer hardware and software support within a data systems environment.  Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years experience designing databases to MS SQL and MS Access, as well as some experience in programming knowledge (Visual Basic, VB.NET, ASP, Java) preferred.


Bilingual Intake Operation Assistant

The St. Frances Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance has an exciting opportunity for an Intake Operation Assistant at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for handling incoming calls, clients and other visitors, overseeing accounts receivable functions, ordering office supplies, building services as needed, opening and closing the reception area, making referrals as needed for immigration-related and other services, calendar maintenance, and administrative support with outbound client contact. Ideal candidates will be fluent in Spanish – verbal and written, have a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of one year clerical experience.  This individual must also be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.


Bilingual Receptionist/Cashier

The Purchasing and Support Services team has two exciting opportunities for a Receptionist at two of our Houston offices.  One of these positions is located at our Corporate office on Louisiana and the other is located in the Moran Health Center.  The individuals that fill these positions will be responsible for operating computerized switchboards and facilitating communication between staff members.  These people will also assess calls and initial client needs in order to direct callers to the proper program or staff, as well as greet clients and visitors and direct them to the proper program.  In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities, these individuals will handle cashier duties and mailroom duties as assigned.  Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year previous phone experience required.  The position at the Moran Health Center will require a minimum of one year experience working in a human services position.  Fluency in English and Spanish is required.  
 
Disaster Recovery Case Manager - Galveston Office

The Disaster Recovery team has a rewarding opportunity for a Case Manager at our offices in Galveston, TX.  This position will be responsible for managing, monitoring and evaluating services/referrals. The individual that fills this position will travel to outreach locations to meet with clients including home and/or office visits, and other visits specified according to need of the clients. Responsibilities of this position will include documenting all clients’ encounters and contacts on behalf of clients/families; writing progress notes and or service referral summaries and entering the information into our database; preparing weekly reports along with client list; updating hard files with verification documents indicating needs and eligibility; developing a holistic recovery partnership plan identifying client’s needs and establishing benchmarks to meet goals and objectives. This individual will also be responsible for assisting clients and developing a plan of care for future services outside of Galveston County via contact with local, city, state and federal government agencies, private agencies and others, for the purpose of obtaining needed resources for the client, and responsible for the maintenance of files.  Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree with 1-3 years experience in the social services industry.  Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
 
 
Bilingual Access and Eligibility Specialist (part-time)
The Senior Services team at Catholic Charities has an exciting opportunity for a part time Access and Eligibility Specialist at our offices in Houston, TX.  This position is responsible for determining eligibility for medical services, customer service, providing information and referrals, discerning other basic needs and connecting individuals with appropriate community service organizations, including but not limited to Catholic Charities services. This individual will also support a Call Center atmosphere, accepting walk-ins and directing to appropriate services.  Ideal candidates will possess front desk experience in health care, physician office, or social services setting. Candidate must be bilingual in Spanish.  High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years experience working in a human services position; or related social service experience required.  Bachelors degree preferred. 
 
 
Basic Needs Associate Director
 
The Basic Needs Services team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director at our offices in Galveston County.  This position will assist Basic Needs Director develop, implement, and evaluate Basic Needs Service Delivery flow with case management services (including food and financial assistance) in Central, Southern and Western Regions. This individual will also provide training to staff in the area of Basic Needs Services and Council of Accreditation; case consultation/direction to staff on an ongoing basis; participate in basic needs assistance meetings and consortiums, partnerships in order to ensure best practices, trends and needs of clients; complete and submit grant applications for basic needs in collaboration with Regional Director, Basic Needs Director, and Fund Development staff; assist Basic Needs Director maintain financial records, monitor revenue and expenditures for funding received;  ensure client data is collected and entered into the required databases; assist Basic Needs Director and Client Relations/ Compliance Specialist prepare internal and external reports for funding sources and submits reports as per contract timeline, ensure that clients' files and recordkeeping are in compliance with COA standards and follows funding source guidelines and requirements; assist, plan, recommend and coordinate with Basic Needs Director in securing funding for the Basic Needs Service Program; appraise Director of Basic Needs of any trends or concerns in program; and assist Basic Needs Director monitor program performance and budgets, and address any variance issues. Ideal candidates will have a Masters degree and/or seven years of experience in the social service arena - specifically basic needs case management services strongly preferred.

Bilingual Legal Caseworker - Crime Victims (Part-time)

The Crime Victims program within the St. Frances Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance has an rewarding part-time opportunity for a Legal Caseworker at our offices in Houston, TX.  This individual will be responsible for assisting crime victims including abused spouses, victims of human trafficking apply and victims of other crimes apply for immigration benefits.  Duties include providing outreach and education services to crime victims, performing client intake interviews, assessing eligibility for immigration benefits, explaining eligibility and procedure to the client, assembling applications and supporting documentation, and following up on case outcome. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in social science or related field, or comparable paralegal experience with a minimum of one year legal casework and/or clerical experience.  Proficiency in English and Spanish – verbal and written, as well as  proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Applicants must also have reliable transportation, valid Texas driver’s license and evidence of insurability. 

 
Bilingual Counselor

Our Counseling Services team has a rewarding opportunity for a Counselor at our offices in Fort Bend County!  We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide individual, couple, group, and family counseling in Fort Bend County and West Houston.  This individual will be responsible for developing relationships in the community, preparing and presenting workshops on mental health topics, and providing individual, couple and family counseling.  An ideal candidate will be a self starter, experienced in working with couples, single mothers, seniors, children, and those recovering from loss.  Requirements are: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT and two years post graduate clinical experience.  Bilingual in English and Spanish required.  



Bilingual Case Manager

Our St. Michael's Home for Children has a rewarding opportunity for a Case Manager at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for the case management of children assigned to each case load within the shelter, ensuring service delivery and proper documentation for the services to unaccompanied alien children in federal custody.  This individual is also responsible for ensuring the communication and facilitation of clients with family, local/state/federal government entities, and international consulates as needed in the progress of the case. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree in the social services field such as social work, psychology, sociology with preferred experience in shelter/ residential care services. Two years experience working with children, adolescents and families is also required.  LCCA licensure preferred.  If no licensure, candidates must have 2 years experience in residential care and one years supervisory experience.  Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
 
 
Bilingual Driver

Our Immigration and Refugee Services team has a rewarding opportunity for a Driver at our offices in Houston, TX.  The individual that fills this position will be responsible for driving clients to and from work in a timely manner.  This individual will pick up and drop off clients from their apartment complex and transport them to and from their work location.  Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and be 21 years or older.  Applicants must have a Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record and be fluent in one refugee language and English.  Applicants must also be able to read maps and be familiar with major freeways and roads in the Houston area.
