Details for "Understanding ADHD in Children"
Diagnoses for ADHD in children have risen substantially over past decade. This affects not only the child but also everyone in the family. Focus will be on educating about ADHD, its symptoms and how some learning disabilities mimic ADHD symptoms. Tips on living with a child with ADHD will be provided and treatment options will be reviewed briefly.
Nereida is a graduate of University of Houston and a Licensed Master Social Worker, with over 8 years experience in the mental health field. She is bilingual and has extensive experience working with victims of abuse, domestic violence, and neglect.
