Letter from our Cardinal, our Chair and President/CEO

Dear Friends,

In love, we have been called to provide help and create hope for those in need. We are blessed to have been brought to this work, finding so many in our community who are struggling to live without even the most basic of necessities. We stand at their sides, helping each to cling to the promise of faith and hope in the midst of difficult times.

We value this ability to help, knowing that hope enables all who walk in darkness to look forward to the possibility of a better life, one in which each will have enough to eat, a safe place to call home, and a life free from persecution. As this hope is realized, it whispers of greater things, inviting all to become more firmly rooted in the love of God, through which all things are made right.

As you review this annual report of our activities, we ask that you dedicate time to pray for us throughout the coming year. With your prayers and your gifts, you help us bring hope to the hopeless, allowing thousands to experience in ways both great and small, the miracle of God’s everlasting love.
