Beacon of Hope Catholic Charities

Providing Help Creating Hope

Welcome to Catholic Charities

Founded in 1943, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston provides a comprehensive network of social services aimed at promoting and facilitating self-sufficiency.  Catholic Charities offers services such as foster care and adoption, food assistance, family counseling, senior services and much, much more, bringing hope to the Greater Houston and Galveston communities.

A faith-based organization, Catholic Charities extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to all those in need regardless of their faith. Catholic Charities provides help and hope for more than 90,000 people in the community each year.

People are still in need of help. You can help us provide this help and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Thanks to the generosity of the community, donors and volunteers, Catholic Charities continues its important efforts to help those in need achieve self-sufficiency.
