Providing Help Creating Hope

Food and Basic Needs Assistance

Jesus said there would always be the poor, innocently suffering. Catholic Charities serves the poor, the forgotten, the elderly and the sick through its Food and Basic Needs Assistance program. We provide assistance to the homeless, the battered and victims of domestic violence who are in need of temporary housing.  We offer financial assistance in Houston and Galveston to those who have fallen on hard times.  Our disaster recovery division provides both short and long-term assistance to those in need.
