Dear Catholic Charities Family, We are pleased to announce the selection of Cynthia Nunes Colbert, MSW, as our new CEO effective January 2013. “Cynthia has plenty of experience leading and shepherding an organization with Catholic values,” said Board Chairman David Harvey, Jr., of Colbert, who currently serves as executive director of Catholic Charities, Inc. – Diocese of Wichita, Kansas. Daniel Cardinal DiNardo congratulates the Selection Committee, expressing his confidence in Ms. Colbert. He further stated, “She is dedicated to Catholic social teaching and is very knowledgeable and committed to Catholic Charities.” We are grateful to each of you for your prayers during this interim period and we thank the search committee for their time and consideration during the selection process.
