Volunteer with Catholic Charities

Alone we accomplish some, together we accomplish much.

At Catholic Charities, we value our volunteers and their impact on every program. We could not serve the community of Galveston-Houston in the same capacity without volunteers. We welcome people of all faiths and will work with you to find an opportunity that matches your skills and interests.

Steps to Volunteering

Step 1
Submit a volunteer application — Fill out an ONLINE APPLICATION or download an application and submit via email. (Please note that every volunteer that works with children for an extended period of time is required to attend the VIRTUS training prior to placement.)

Step 2

Submit volunteer references — Have 3 individuals provide a reference on your behalf.

Step 3

Attend volunteer orientation – 3rd Wednesday of each month
